The ongoing trials and tribulations of Carnival’s cruise ship “Triumph” (which you can read about by clicking here) have led to the emergence of a ghost of ship wrecks past — at least technologically. On January 12, 2013, the Costa Concordia cruise ship (also owned by Carnival) hit a reef and ran aground at Isola del Giglio, Tuscany, leaving 32 people dead.
